Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa in Addison is looking for an energetic Spa Assistant Manager with enthusiasm, strong organizational skills and a self-starter. The ideal candidate will have a minimum 1-2 years of sales/customer service experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or spa environment. This opportunity is a great chance to learn and grow in your career.

Principal duties include assisting the spa manager/owner with:

• Overseeing and motivating team members.

• Managing and facilitating daily operations of the Spa.

• Achieving and surpassing all membership and retail sales goals.

• Managing and mentoring spa associates, massage therapists and estheticians.

• Coaching and mentoring with a strong sense of discretion.

• Ability to give personalized direction on performance using suggestive selling of memberships.

• Creating and maintaining staff and therapist work schedules to optimize availability.

• Providing excellent customer service to members and new customers.

• Leading by example and providing team assistance with guests by answering phone calls, setting appointments, greeting members/guests upon arrival and selling memberships.

• Maintaining professional and impeccable spa environment for employees and members/guests.

• Generating sales reports, payroll, bank deposits, maintaining inventory and ordering supplies to ensure the ultimate guest and employee experience.

Experience required:

• SALES, SALES, SALES (preferably membership sales) experience.

• Energetic management, seasoned sales and/or knowledge of marketing is helpful.

• Confidence in suggestive selling, and experience in service/retail industry is necessary.

• Committed to effectively communicate expectations to the team and create a trendsetting culture.

• Strong articulation skills and communication of important information to spa manager.

• Competent and efficient trainer and motivator.
