Job Overview

We are seeking a Handyman Assistant to support our skilled technicians on a wide range of home repair and improvement projects. This is an entry-level position ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and interest in growing into a skilled handyman role.

Responsibilities

Assist lead technicians with setup, cleanup, and basic repair tasks Perform beginner to lower-intermediate services such as:

Hanging pictures, shelves, mirrors, blinds, and curtains

Caulking, weather stripping, and light drywall patching

Basic painting and touch-up work

Gutter cleaning and minor exterior maintenance

Load/unload tools and materials

Keep job sites clean, safe, and organized

Follow instructions and company procedures closely

Qualifications

No degree required

Ability to demonstrate reading a tape measure

Ability to name a basic tool and describe how it's used

Basic knowledge of tools or construction preferred

Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders safely

Strong communication skills and professional appearance

Reliable transportation and valid driver's license

Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Customer-first attitude and team mindset

Must pass background check
