ABOUT THE JOB
Seeking a reliable and versatile Part-Time Handyman / Maintenance Person to oversee the upkeep and maintenance of our properties and assist with a variety of handyman tasks over three locations: St. Louis, O'Fallon, and Alton, IL. This role involves managing routine property needs, performing minor repairs, and taking ownership of miscellaneous maintenance projects.
COMPENSATION
$20-$30 / hr based on experience - Part Time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Property Maintenance & Oversight:
- Minor repairs (patching and painting walls, replacing light bulbs, and fixing fixtures)
- Routine inspections of properties to identify and address maintenance needs.
- Identify suggest projects to enhance property conditions.
- Take initiative in addressing unscheduled maintenance needs.
Handyman Tasks:
- Install basic fixtures, e.g., mount TVs, hang pictures, etc.
- Perform minor electrical and plumbing repairs when necessary.
- Assemble furniture and manage other setup tasks during office transitions.
Relocation and Setup Support:
- Assist with moving furniture and equipment between locations.
- Oversee the move-out process for leased properties, including final cleaning and repairs.
- Support the setup and organization of new office spaces.
Vehicle Management:
- Regular maintenance, cleaning, and inspections of company vehicles
- Evaluate and coordinate cost-effective vehicle options, including leasing, purchasing, or upgrading to meet company needs.
- Research and recommend economical solutions for acquiring new vehicles (based on requirements and budgets).
Medical Equipment Management:
- Assist with identifying and implementing tools or equipment designed to safely and efficiently move medical devices and supplies.
- Research and recommend solutions to improve ergonomics, reduce physical strain, and ensure the safe handling of heavy or sensitive medical equipment.
- Support the setup, relocation, and organization of medical equipment between office locations, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Proactively identify opportunities to streamline equipment transport processes while prioritizing safety and ease of use for staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in property management, maintenance, or handyman tasks.
- Proficiency in basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to transport tools or materials as needed.
WORK SCHEDULE
- Part-time, with flexibility based on workload.
- Travel between properties as needed (primarily in O’Fallon, Alton, and St. Louis areas).
