Handyman Pro of Hudson is seeking a skilled remodeler who would ideally have a variety of home improvement skills to support the growth of our business. We're looking for a select few experienced, motivated, and organized home improvement professionals that can work directly with customers to successfully complete current projects and open doors to future projects. All candidates should have great customer service skills.

Responsibilities
The handyman / remodeler will need to have expertise in multiple types of home repair, maintenance, and remodeling. You must have basic construction skills, be organized, and effectively communicate with others with a positive attitude. You will work within a territory which includes Stow, Hudson, Cuyahoga Falls, Twinsburg, Solon, Chagrin Falls, and other towns in these general areas. Responsibilities include:
Experience in any of the following: general carpentry, drywall repair, minor plumbing, flooring, handyman, maintenance work, and general repairs.
Perform various types of home improvement/ maintenance work; including residential and commercial work
Products, buildings, and applications differ case by case; the candidate must be able to choose best solutions for each application as it pertains to safety, functionality, and performance working within the guidelines of safety and installation instructions
The remodeler will also troubleshoot, repair and perform periodic maintenance on new and existing equipment
Requirements
Previous experience in the handyman/technician/maintenance field - knowledge of the principles, techniques, equipment, and supplies used in the handyman service
Mechanical aptitude – knowledgeable and skilled in using various hand and power tools
Knowledge of appropriate materials and parts
Ability to learn and operate a variety of basic computer programs and systems.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the general public
Team player; strong collaboration skills
Be a self-starter with the ability to organize multiple projects, manage rapidly shifting priorities and produce tangible, measurable results
Must have a valid drivers' license with a good driving record and be insurable
Basic business math and legible handwriting
Education
Technical /apprenticeship training a plus.
Physical Demands
Requires frequently: Standing, lifting of 50+ lbs., Carrying 50+ lbs., walking, pushing, stooping, climbing, bending, crouching, crawling, reaching above and below shoulder level; full use of hands, good finger dexterity, lifting from floor to waist and twisting of the torso. Also includes working in cramped spaces, on ladders, and with power tools and performing manual labor in an outside environment, exposed to heat, sun, high humidity, rain, and other adverse weather conditions.
