Handyman Pro is seeking a skilled electrician who has prior experience in the electrical industry and has proven communication skills with supervisors, employees, and customers to support the growth of our business. We're looking for a select few experienced, motivated, and organized home improvement professionals that can work directly with customers to successfully complete current projects and open doors to future projects. All candidates should have great customer service skills.

Responsibilites

As an Electrician, you will coordinate and complete the installation, repair, and service of electric and electronic components in a residential or commercial setting.

Install, maintain, and repair installed existing equipment and related AC and DC existing branch circuits and feeders.

Ability to determine and clearly identify proper materials and material quantities for new and existing repair projects.

Evaluate customer requests, price projects, troubleshoot customer issues and present a description of a work order to a customer.

Determine condition of electrical equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, and determine needed repairs

Identify materials and quantities needed for new and repair projects

Follow established processes and procedures

Operate with safety as a primary concern for self and customer

Requirements

Must carry electrical license

Previous experience in the electrician field - knowledge of the principles, techniques, equipment, and supplies used in the electrical service

Team player; strong collaboration skills

Knowledge of appropriate materials and parts

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the general public

Be a self-starter with the ability to organize multiple projects, manage rapidly shifting priorities and produce tangible, measurable results

Must have a valid drivers' license with a good driving record and be insurable

Education

Electrician Trade Certification a plus.

Technical /apprenticeship training a plus.

Physical Demands

Stand for long periods of time.

Use their hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.

Bend or twist their body.

Repeat the same movements.

Climb ladders, scaffolds, or poles.

Walk or run for long periods of time.

Experience

Five years preferred in applicable fields listed above.
