  • Responsibilities

    The Handyman is responsible for completing a wide variety of residential and light commercial repair, maintenance, and improvement projects. This individual must be highly skilled, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects while maintaining professionalism with clients. Responsibilities: • Perform general home repairs, maintenance, and installations (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and basic HVAC preferred). • Complete work orders assigned through the company’s scheduling system in a timely and professional manner. • Conduct routine property inspections, including 3-month and annual checkups for managed properties. • Communicate clearly with property managers, owners, and tenants about project details, timelines, and materials needed. • Maintain accurate documentation of completed work, materials used, and before/after photos for records. • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment. • Identify potential maintenance issues and recommend solutions or preventive measures. • Assist with make-readies, turnovers, and small remodels as needed. Qualifications: • Proven experience as a handyman, maintenance technician, or in a similar role (3+ years preferred). • Strong knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods. • Skilled in the use of hand and power tools. • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose repairs independently. • Excellent time management and communication skills. • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required. • Must provide own basic tools (specialty tools provided as needed). • Ability to pass a background check. Compensation: $12 - $20 hourly
