This Job Is for You If…

You’re the kind of technician who doesn’t panic when you see something you haven’t done before. You stop, think, ask the right questions, and figure it out.

At House Doctors of Butler County, we’re not looking for someone who knows everything. We’re looking for someone who knows how to solve problems, take ownership, and represent a professional brand with confidence.

If you enjoy variety, independence, and becoming better at your craft over time, keep reading.

What the Work Is Really Like

This is not a production-line trade job where every day looks the same.

    You’ll handle:

Small to mid-size handyman repairs and projects

A wide range of homes, problems, and scenarios

Jobs you’ve done before — and some you haven’t

    You’ll be trusted to:

    Assess situations accurately

    Communicate clearly with homeowners

Decide on the right solution — not the fastest shortcut

Ask for help when needed and take responsibility for outcomes

We support our technicians — but we expect ownership, not hand-holding.

What We Believe (And What We Expect)

We believe professionalism is part of the craft.

    That means:

    Showing up on time

    Communicating clearly

    Documenting work properly

Leaving homes better than we found them

Representing the House Doctors brand with pride

If you take pride in doing things the right way — even when no one is watching — you’ll fit in here.

    What You’ll Get

Consistent, reliable work — we provide the leads and manage scheduling

    Bi-weekly pay via direct deposit

    Local support from a family-owned, veteran-owned business

Professional branding — company shirts and vehicle magnets provided

Training and growth — we help good technicians become great ones

401(k) eligibility after one year of employment

We handle the logistics so you can focus on craftsmanship and customer experience.

Who This Role Is Not For

This position is not a good fit if:

You only want to do tasks you’ve already mastered

You resist using systems, apps, or documentation

You struggle with communication or accountability

You cut corners when things get difficult

You prefer working without standards or expectations

We’re building a professional team — not just filling slots.
