    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a skilled and versatile Handyman with a strong background in commercial property maintenance and specific expertise in masonry work. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a wide range of repairs, maintenance tasks, and general upkeep.

    Responsibilities:

    Perform general maintenance and repairs across various commercial properties, including but not limited to:

    Masonry: Repairing brickwork, pointing, concrete patching, stucco repair, and other related masonry tasks.

    General Building Maintenance: Addressing issues with walls, floors, ceilings, doors, windows, and fixtures.

    Plumbing: Minor repairs such as leak detection, faucet replacement, toilet repairs, and drain clearing.

    Electrical: Replacing light fixtures, switches, outlets, and minor troubleshooting (licensed electrician for major work).

    Carpentry: Minor framing, trim work, cabinet repair, and general wood repairs.

    Painting: Touch-ups and small-scale painting projects.

    Exterior Maintenance: Assisting with grounds upkeep, minor landscaping, and debris removal as needed.

    Conduct routine inspections of properties to identify and address maintenance needs proactively.

    Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants and property management.

    Troubleshoot issues and determine the best course of action for repairs.

    Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with local codes and regulations.

    Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on tasks.

    Manage and organize tools, equipment, and supplies.

    Communicate effectively with property managers, tenants, and other team members.

    Qualifications:

    Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar maintenance role, specifically in commercial property settings.

    Demonstrable expertise in masonry work (brick, block, concrete, stucco repair).

    Strong knowledge of general building maintenance, including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.

    Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose maintenance issues effectively.

    Proficiency with a variety of hand and power tools.

    Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

    High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or relevant certifications are a plus.

    Physical Requirements:

    Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).

    Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and work in various positions for extended periods.

    Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
