About the Role:

Family Pride Private Home Care is looking for a skilled and dependable Handyman to join our growing team in RI & MA! In this role, you'll play a vital part in maintaining safe, comfortable, and well-functioning homes for the clients we serve. Responsibilities:

Perform general home repairs and maintenance tasks at client residences

Assess and troubleshoot household issues including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry

Complete minor drywall, painting, and flooring repairs as needed

Install, repair, or replace fixtures, appliances, and hardware

Ensure all work meets safety standards and is completed in a timely manner

Communicate clearly with agency staff and clients regarding job status and needs

Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment

Requirements:

Proven experience as a handyman or in a general maintenance/repair role

Proficiency in basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially with elderly or vulnerable clients

Background check required

Compassionate, professional, and respectful demeanor
