Job Description
Responsibilities for Sales Associate
Assist potential clients with requests in person, via CRM and on the phone
Follow Membership Department Policies and Procedures
Maintain a sales database as dictated by the Membership Director
Attend community outreach events when applicable
Keep accurate and up to date records
Greet member and guests in a friendly and polite manner
Maintain sales database daily and consistently
Educate customers about current promotions and advertisements
Process membership applications
Provide weekly reports as requested by management and Membership Director
Work schedule based on the Club’s needs
Follow up with all leads and membership inquires as monitored by Membership Director
Implement rejoin programs and create your own plan to increase leads contacted per week
Handle current member changes and requests
Assist members with membership account changes, inquires and questions
Implement a Member Upgrade Program to increase Premier upgrades monthly
Contribute to team's daily sales goals
Qualifications for Sales Associate
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
Experience with Sales CRM desirable
1-2 years of sales experience or customer service experience desired
Required to work Monday – Thursday 10:30am -7:00pm and Sunday 8:00am - 4:30pm
Excellent verbal communication skills
Detail oriented and punctual
Maintain all sales databases daily and accurately
Strong orientation towards providing excellent customer service
Basic math skills
High attention to detail
Demonstrated selling skills
Ability to maintain a professional appearance
Compensation
$16.00 per hour plus commission and bonus opportunities
