TEAM MEMBER RELATIONS MANAGER / ASSISTANT HR MANAGER

Hanon Systems is a Tier-1 Auto Manufacturing Supplier. We have 400 + team members and operates 3 shifts. Located in Shorter, AL about 15 miles from East Montgomery. This position works as part of the HR Team consisting of 5 total team members. Company Overview video: https://youtu.be/wPP5ySG1IyM).

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Plant Human Resources Manager, this person will play critical role in Team Member Relations activities, Hiring and On-boarding processes, employee recognition, and overseeing communication/coordination with temporary staffing agencies.

• Maintains good employee relations to help reduce workplace conflict and help raise employee morale. Conducts employee investigations and provides guidance for resolution.
• Provides advice and counsel to managers and supervisors regarding personnel practices, policy and employment laws.
• Administers unemployment processes.
• Oversees and communicates with managers regarding performance reviews on new hires and assists with the online annual review process for salaried employees.
• Conducts onboarding process (drug screening, background check, I-9 verifications).
• Conducts "stay" and exit interviews with employees.
• Responsible for the hourly job application system for posting internal hiring opportunities and assessing qualifications.
• Assists with temporary staffing agencies coordination and communication.
• Implements events, recognition programs and team member incentives.
