    JOB SUMMARY:

    Hansel Auto is seeking candidates for the position of Network Administrator. The Network Administrator is an entry level position for someone ready to grow a career in the network field. The position also includes help desk support duties. An ideal candidate has a few years of general IT experience and demonstrates a desire and passion to grow a career in Network Administration field. 

    REQUIREMENTS:  

    • Assist the IT Manager with supporting, configuring, maintaining, and upgrading networks and servers
    • Troubleshoot IT issues and resolve problems reported by end users
    • Support and administer third-party applications
    • Proactively help to ensure network security
    • Monitor network and server performance and proactively test for issues
    • Setup of new user accounts, permissions, and passwords
    • Create, update, and maintain documentation
    • Work on help desk tickets and support end users
    • Directing customers appropriately over the phone
    • Maintaining a positive attitude during difficult situations
    • Updating and Maintaining the company ticket system
    • Maintaining safe and clean work area
    • Miscellaneous duties as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

    • 1-3 years of relevant IT experience
    • Demonstrated technical ability to use effective troubleshooting and information gathering techniques on solving computer issues for end users
    • Administrative experience with Microsoft Windows 10 and Server 2019, and MS Office
    • Understanding of Windows networking and Active Directory
    • Experience with Cisco or Cisco Meraki networking (CCNA is a plus)
    • Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Outlook/Web Mail
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a MUST
    • Ability to remain calm under pressure
    • Organized and detail oriented
    • Excellent customer service skills, including patience and concern for client issues/problems, and the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical users
    • A talent and passion for problem solving
    • Ability to work in a group or unsupervised
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
    • Pass a drug test
    • Desire and demonstrated commitment to greatness
