Injection Molding Process Technician

Shift: 3rd

Reporting to: Shift Leader

Pay Rate: $28-$32 per hr. based on experience

Injection molding facility is looking for an experienced process technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a true ‘team player’ embodying a spirit of support and care for their co-workers and the organization as a whole.

Duties:

· Evaluate and correct issues leading to scrap, customer complaints, slow cycle time, lost cavitation, downtime, etc. If unable to correct, document and communicate why.

· Complete mold changes and startups per company procedures.

· Pull and put away materials as needed per company procedures.

· Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

· Assume responsibility for all shift aspects when the Shift Leader is absent.

· Assume responsibility for all aspects of the shift during weekend production.

Qualifications:

· Minimum of 2 years of scientific injection molding.

· Formal training preferred (RJG Master Molder) but not required.

· Forklift experience preferred (standup and sit down) but not required.

· Fluent in reading and writing/typing English.

· Competent in Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word). Excel is a plus but not required.

· Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
