Hansen Talent Group is now hiring a Software Test Manager to join an innovative and tech focused company in the Columbia, SC area. This is a hybrid, permanent leadership position.

The Software Test Manager will be responsible for overseeing the QA team, long term planning, testing efforts, and leading large projects focused on the improvement of SDLC and STLC.

Duties:

• Collaborate with senior leadership and department leads to establish product goals and develop project plans.
• Review business requirements and technical specifications to design test plans, matrix, and cases for complex products.
• Oversee the QA team: communicating test plans and expectations, ensuring team is performing successful, providing coaching/performance reviews, creating performance enhancement plans as needed, and identifying professional development opportunities.
• Provide hands- on testing support for both manual software tests and automation tests.
• Lead large projects including process improvement and the implementation of new automation frameworks to the test environment.
• Research new technologies and provide technical recommendations to continuously improve company product lines as well as QA environment and SDLC.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years working within Software Testing and/or Development
• Experience serving as QA Lead, Project Manager, or QA Manager
• Experience standing up QA environments and/or previous test designer experience
• Eager to learn new technologies
• Willing to be adaptable and creative
