Hansen Talent Group is hiring a QA Engineer to work with an enterprise in Irmo, SC. This is a hybrid opportunity and will require 2-3 days onsite/week.

Duties:

• The Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications by designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions, and ensuring that software meets functional and non-functional requirements.
• This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of software development processes, and a commitment to delivering high-quality products.
• The QA Engineer works closely with developers, the Agile Project Manager, Product Owner, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure that software quality standards are met and maintained.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3-5 years of experience as a QA Engineer, QA Tester, or similar.
• Experience with both manual and automated testing processes.
• Proficiency in test management software (e.g., TestRail, Jira, etc.).
• Familiarity with various testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Selenium, etc.).
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile andScrum.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to clearly document and report defects, issues, and test results.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• A strong sense of ownership and responsibility for delivering high-quality software.
• ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) certification or other equivalent certifications in QA or software testing is a plus.
