    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    Happinest is seeking to hire a Director of Technology Optimization who will set the direction for the management of information technology throughout the organization, including collaborating with senior leadership on setting the overall strategy, developing the network infrastructure and platform to deliver services, maintenance of business relationships with vendors, budget setting and budget-to-actual tracking, project delivery, and security monitoring to ensure compliance. The Director of Technology Optimization collaborates with Business Unit leaders to develop and execute a strategy to ensure a technical infrastructure that can grow with the company’s business needs. They will need to stay current on technological advances and set the direction for their team including structure for efficiency, effectiveness, security, and disaster recovery.

This job requires a very hands-on, "roll-your-sleeves-up" work style. The ideal candidate is a strategic-level thinker who is innovative and possesses the drive and initiative to accomplish challenging strategic goals. Candidates with experience in acquisitions and managing technical infrastructure for brands that fall under the corporate shared-service environment with be most successful in this role. This role reports to the Chief Financial Officer.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Collaborates with C-level executives and business unit leaders to create strategic plans for the business’s future growth.

    Continually assess existing platforms and develop a forward-looking strategy w/ business owners including overall architecture to enable businesses to scale across multiple brands.

    Advises and participates in strategy meetings with the C-Level executives and/or other management to develop and implement new technologies.

    Develops a strategy to ensure Information Technology Applications and Infrastructure can grow with the Company's needs, including data security, network infrastructure, server infrastructure, and storage.

    Leads the Business Intelligence and Analytics capabilities and team to optimize these capabilities to provide key data to enable the growth and scale of Happinest business operations.

    Serves as the IT Project Manager able to effectively manage multiple projects including capitalization, providing direction on the integration of technology infrastructure, user support, administrative systems, and external access.

    Troubleshoots IT system implementation issues and demonstrates the ability to drive to a successful resolution.

    Manages IT budget and spending and forecasts future IT budget requirements to ensure the procurements and resources required to create and administer the desired strategic IT infrastructure are available.

    Maintains accountability and develops lifecycle schedule from procurement to retirement for IT assets including hardware, software, licenses, and SaaS.

    Builds and maintains technical solution documentation; partners with external vendors to ensure field readiness on all new and existing technology solutions.

    Stays current on IT practices.

    Collaborates with and educates project managers regarding Department resources to ensure optimum allocation and utilization of technology resources.

    Develops and maintains service level specifications (KPIs) and effective business relationships with IT vendors to ensure not only the best technology solutions available but also optimal financial arrangements that can be accomplished. Responsible for negotiating and managing IT support contracts with vendors.

    Develops operation and maintenance plans including production support.

    Defines and executes IT risk management and security compliance including vulnerability assessments (PoC), determining change management procedures, and determining document management procedures.

    Develops and maintains a Disaster Recovery Plan for data, hardware, and the continuity of Information Technology in the event of a business interruption.

    Develops and maintains business continuity plan for IT infrastructure.

    Ensures that the Company’s IT operations adhere to federal, state, and local laws and regulations as well as vendor licensing requirements.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a Related Field

    Minimum of 10 Years of Experience Working in IT Operations and Leading IT Teams

    Skilled Critical Thinker Capable of Understanding Data Visualization and Transformation

    Experienced in Building Processes to Evaluate Current Technical Capabilities and Implement New Technical Platforms

    Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills

    Minimum of 10 Years of Experience Evaluating and Implementing Technical Infrastructure to Meet Strategic Growth Goals

    Minimum of 3 Years of Project Management Experience

    Experience in Drafting and Publishing Information Technology Related Policies and in Researching, Managing, and Tracking Organizational Compliance with Applicable Laws, and Regulations

    Proficient in the Latest Technology for IT Systems and Management (VOIP, Mobile, SaaS, Cloud, etc.)

    Understanding of General CRM / ERP Workflows and Data Structures

    Adept Business Acumen Skills

    Expert in the use of MS Office 365 Applications

    Experienced with Active Directory Administration

    Familiar with BI Applications such as Domo or Tableau

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

    Familiar with BI Applications such as Domo or Tableau

    Master’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a Related Field

    Minimum of 5 Years of Experience in Project Management with Emphasis on Agile Project Methodologies

    PMP Certification (Additional Agile Certification Preferred)

    Strong background in cybersecurity (CISSP Preferred)
