Happy Day Catering is seeking applicants who enjoy versatility and flexibility in their job!

Our current open position is responsible for a sales-oriented, three-day-per-week lunch service at a local business. Other duties may be assigned according to events booked, including preparing event items for service and completing deliveries, pick-ups, and staffed events. The successful candidate will have a personable attitude, strong customer service skills, and a professional demeanor along with high-level organizational skills and extreme attention to detail.

This position will begin at part time and may seasonally become full time. Hourly schedule is flexible and variable, depending on the type and volume of catering events booked for the week. Some event hours may be in the evening and/or on Saturdays.

Starting wage is $10/hr plus applicable gratuity for event hours.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Willingness to learn and adhere to Happy Day's standards of excellence.

1 year customer service experience is required.

High attention to detail is required.

Professional demeanor and appearance, as well as ability to upsell and create client relationships.

Access to reliable transportation is required.

Applicant must hold a valid, unexpired driver’s license.

For driving insurance purposes, applicants must be at least 20 years old.

Applicant must hold a valid, unexpired WA Food Handler permit and have passed the Idaho Food Safety Exam.

This position requires extensive standing, walking, and lifting. Applicant must be able to safely lift and move up to 50 pounds.
