Position Summary:
This is a full-time, entry level position for a career-minded candidate with a growing company that works in product development and manufacturing of prestige beauty products. The Sales and Marketing Associate plays an integral role in day-to-day communication and operations with internal partners and external clients to help move projects forward, maintain optimal timelines, and exceed customer service expectations. The ideal applicant will be a self-starter with strong time management skills and a keen eye for detail.
This role reports directly to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing
Job Details
8:30 am-5:00 pm, Monday - Friday
PTO, paid holidays, health insurance, 401K with employer match
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Ability to receive/ship client samples
Project tracking utilizing Slack as the internal project tracking tool
Responding to client inquiries and ability to recognize the level of urgency required for each inquiry.
Coordination of client meetings, which includes preparing for meetings, assisting in creating presentations, creating documents of meetings to record meeting notes, and client follow up post meetings. (Purpose behind the planning is based around marketing and unique selling propositions
Lead generation
Communicate with internal/external teams to ensure product flow is meeting client expectations.
Qualifications:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Proficient with Google/Microsoft office tools (i.e.: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Gmail)
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer facing role.
Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize projects.
Familiarity with Slack preferred or familiarity with other project management tracking tools
A degree in marketing, advertising, public relations, or journalism is preferred.
Interest and/or experience in clean and/or natural beauty and wellness industries is a plus.
