With offices in San Francisco and Adelaide (Australia), and a remote team globally, an opportunity has arisen to join the People Operations team and contribute to the ongoing success of the business.

    ABOUT THE ROLE:

    We're seeking an upbeat, organized, and proactive Administrative Assistant who is passionate about people to join HappyCo and the People Operations team in our San Francisco office.  

    As an Administrative Assistant, you'll be at the heart of the company's people activities and the rock that keeps everything moving smoothly. You'll work directly with the Head of People Operations to help everyone in the company stay focused on their projects by resolving operational and administrative issues before they arise.

    Our ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and possesses exceptional interpersonal skills. They'll be a true team player who believes there is no job too big or too small and is eager to learn and grow in a people-focused company.  

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Provide focused support for the Head of People Operations on company initiatives
    • Perform general administrative tasks as needed (e.g. scheduling, digitization of files, etc.)
    • Manage the day-to-day general office logistics and facilities management duties (e.g. maintaining office supplies, conference rooms, and kitchens)
    • Handle confidential information appropriately to facilitate communication
    • Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions
    • Shape culture by helping to organize logistics for a variety of company offsites and events
    • Communicate and follow-up effectively with all staff

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Excellent attention to detail and organization skills
    • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with great follow-through and follow-up practices
    • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects
    • Positive, can-do attitude, strong interpersonal skills, an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and a desire to stretch to new capabilities
    • Strong comfort level with technology (e.g.. Mac Books, Google Suite, etc.)

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • College degree or equivalent practical experience
    • Effective with calendar management and scheduling
    • Experience with Asana
