Full-Charge-Bookkeeper / Controller – Full Time
Job Summary: Immediate opening for a full-charge bookkeeper/controller to join our Business Support team helping deliver high quality accounting services to clients. Job responsibilities include maintaining client’s books using QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online including reconciliations, collecting & interpreting client’s information to prepare accounting reports and providing administrative support. Assist with set-up / train clients.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly bank and credit card accounts reconciliations
Enter journal entries
Miscellaneous accounting-related data entry
Preparation of payroll and payroll tax reporting quarterly and annually
Perform accurate and timely period end close routines (monthly, annually)
Flexible and open to perform administrative duties
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
3 + year accounting experience
Public Accounting – preferred
Financial Statement preparation
Payroll returns preparation and filing
Payroll journal entries
QuickBooks (All suites) – Expert level preferred
Microsoft Office Suites proficiency - knowledge of Excel required
Remote & On-site client software support
Typing skills with speed and accuracy
· Ability to work independently.
Education and Experience:
Associates degree (minimum)
Strong attention to detail, analytical and research skills
Ability to communicate professionally with clients and co-workers
QuickBooks software accounting experience required
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Compensation and Benefits:
Full-time salaried position
$85,000 - $120,000 per annum (based on experience)
