You will build the hardscape elements that anchor our clients' outdoor spaces: patios, walls, stairs, walkways, fire pits, and more. Approximately 50% of your work will be hardscape construction. The other 50% will be landscape installation and maintenance alongside the broader crew, keeping you connected to the full scope of what MOG does.

Construction of paver, brick, and flagstone patios
Building blocks and stone walls, including retaining walls
Constructing stone stairs and walkways
Building fire pits and fireplaces
Mortar work and restoration
Water features (to a lesser extent)
Carpentry, including fences, arbors, and decks (a plus)
Lighting
Landscape responsibilities (approximately 50% of the role):
Planting trees, shrubs, perennials, and annuals
Weeding, mulching, pruning, and edging
Landscape installation and habitat restoration
Client interaction and project updates throughout the job
Additional responsibilities:

Tracking and reporting materials, equipment, and labor
Upholding MOG's 5-star client service standard
Promoting a safe work environment at all times

3 to 5 years of hardscape construction experience required
Demonstrated experience with paver and stone installation, wall construction, and mortar work
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment in varied weather conditions
Strong communication skills with clients and crew members
Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently
Enthusiasm for ecological landscaping and organic practices
Experience with power tools and hand tools at a mastery level
Heavy equipment experience (Dingo, skid steer, excavator) preferred
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
