We are looking to hire a top-tier Hardware Integration Engineer to help continue Track Star's advancement as a leader in the fleet management, asset tracking, and GPS and video telematics space.

    Job Description:

    We're looking for a Hardware Fulfillment Specialist to join our operations team in Calabash, NC. This person will be responsible for preparing, testing, and shipping GPS and telematics hardware to Track Star customers. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with technology in a fast-moving but quality-focused environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Process Orders: Review incoming orders, confirm device types and quantities, and prepare fulfillment plans to meet shipping deadlines.

    • Configure Hardware: Install SIM cards, apply firmware and configuration files using both Track Star's internal tools and third-party device management platforms.

    • Bench Test Devices: Power up devices, verify cellular and GPS connectivity, run testing scripts, and confirm that each unit is transmitting expected data.

    • Maintain Accuracy: Balance speed with precision—ensuring every device is correctly configured before shipment.

    • Manage Inventory: Track hardware and SIM inventory levels, update fulfillment logs, and coordinate reorders as needed.

    • Ship to Clients: Generate UPS labels, package equipment for shipment, and ensure timely delivery to customers across North America.

    • Collaborate: Work closely with our Hardware Integration Engineer (responsible for creating configurations) and Office Administrator (who assists with packaging and shipping).

    • Optimize Processes: Suggest and assist with improvements to testing and automation workflows over time.

    What We're Looking For

    • Prior experience in hardware assembly, electronics fulfillment, IT configuration, or a similar hands-on technical role.

    • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.

    • Basic familiarity with networked or cellular devices , SIM activation portals, or configuration utilities.

    • Comfortable using computers, web-based applications, and spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets).

    • Reliable, organized, and able to meet deadlines in a team-based environment.

    • Ability to lift and package small to medium hardware devices (typically under 25 lbs).

    Nice to Have

    • Exposure to GPS tracking, telematics, or IoT devices.

    • Experience using UPS/FedEx shipping tools or managing small-scale inventory.

    • Interest in streamlining workflows through automation or scripting.

    Schedule & Compensation

    • Full-time, Monday–Friday (40 hours per week)

    • Occasional flexibility for rush orders or high-volume periods

    • Competitive hourly compensation based on experience
