Architecture Summer Intern Job Code: 2018-ARCH-SAN -003 Location: San Francisco, California Department: 1222 Architecture + Design FT/PT Status: Temporary Full-time Job Responsibilities: PRIMARY FUNCTION Provide beginning level support during the development of the design and technical systems for projects from schematics through construction administration under immediate supervision. TYPICAL DUTIES * Perform design duties as directed by the discipline team leader. * Support the discipline in the documentation process. * Perform CADD assignments. * Prepare drawing layout and format. * Develop project details. * Interface with other project team members on CADD drafting assignments.

• Assist in gathering on-site data as required. * Learn construction terminology and techniques. * Perform related duties as required. Job Qualifications: SKILL, KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE * One year of enrollment in an accredited post-secondary architectural program. * Good interpersonal skills. * Computer literacy, including CADD. * Self-motivated, enthusiastic and flexible. Other Job Information (if applicable): PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS * Capable of traveling to and from project sites. * Ability to access existing and new project sites for observation, investigation and evaluation purposes. * Ability to use office tools and equipment for communication and documentation purposes.
