    Overview

    The Sales Support Specialist is a forward-facing customer support role interacting with the internal finance and operations departments as well as the sales team to ensure accurate and effective information is being provided. They are responsible for providing the sales team with direction and support during the transactional sales process, enabling HarpData to deliver the most valuable customer experience. The role provides real-time customer service to resolve sales-related issues in a timely manner.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

    1 to 3 years of customer service, data entry, and clerical experience required

    College degree or equivalent education and work experience preferred

    Prior IT/Software industry experience preferred

    Exceptional customer service skills: customer-focused, helpful, and personable

    Excellent organizational and planning skills

    Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities and/or deadline

    Team player with a proactive, never fail attitude that is independently motivated

    Excellent oral and written communication skills

    Ability to work in a high demand environment.

    Ability to learn (technical and professional acumen) and follow sales processes

    Applications:

    Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

    Experience with CPQ system (QuoteWerks or similar quoting tool)

    Experience with CRM system (Salesforce.com or similar tool)
