  • Responsibilities

    ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • High volume paperwork processing involving various accounting applications
    • Processing Accounts Payable
    • Prepare and follow-up with various correspondence
    • Assure discreet handling of all company business
    • Provide Vendor and Subcontractor support
    • Tracking Company issued equipment
    • Greeting clients and answering the phone when needed
    • Provide admin, general business support to executives in day to day matters

    Minimum Skills and Requirements:

    • Some accounting experience in a heavy paperwork environment
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is expected
    • Advanced proficiency in Excel is a required
    • Experience with Sage accounting software a plus
    • Ability to work independently with a superb level of accuracy
    • Perform multiple tasks while adhering to deadlines
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent math and problem solving skills
    • Experience in either Construction, Real Estate or Finance environment is a major asset

    This is a Full Time Position
