ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- High volume paperwork processing involving various accounting applications
- Processing Accounts Payable
- Prepare and follow-up with various correspondence
- Assure discreet handling of all company business
- Provide Vendor and Subcontractor support
- Tracking Company issued equipment
- Greeting clients and answering the phone when needed
- Provide admin, general business support to executives in day to day matters
Minimum Skills and Requirements:
- Some accounting experience in a heavy paperwork environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is expected
- Advanced proficiency in Excel is a required
- Experience with Sage accounting software a plus
- Ability to work independently with a superb level of accuracy
- Perform multiple tasks while adhering to deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent math and problem solving skills
- Experience in either Construction, Real Estate or Finance environment is a major asset
