NodeJS Customer Success Engineer

HarperDB, Inc.

NodeJS Customer Success Engineer

National
Full Time
Paid
  • Responsibilities

Do you like solving complex problems with NODEJS? Do you enjoy writing APIs? Do you have experience with advanced concepts like machine learning or IoT data? Would you like to work on all that fun stuff and never have to worry about the complexities of data persistence again?

If so, you might be what HarperDB is looking for.

As the most performant, easiest to use DISTRIBUTED database in the world, we're working with the coolest companies in the world to deliver solutions that are faster, more reliable, and easier to maintain. So many companies, in fact, that we're hiring a NodeJS Customer Success Engineer to help with sales demos, architecture, and customers' proof-of-concept applications.

As part of the Customer Success team, you'll work with HarperDB customers to make sure their first projects go smoothly. This entails network and application architecture, API and even (sometimes) basic UI development.  The full list is below:

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Perform product demos and answer technical questions during sales calls
    • Create Proof of Concept projects using HarperDB's revolutionary Custom Functions. CLICK HERE TO SEE AN EXAMPLE
    • Turn projects into content that can be used to socialize HarperDB to the dev community
    • Help the developer community and enterprise customers with solutions and technical challenges
    • Assist the support team with customer issues to drive customer satisfaction

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • ADVANCED Node.js development experience - seriously... this is, like, super-important. Our EVP of technology will grill you. The head of product will grill you. The CEO will eventually grill you. Please don't try to fake it.
    • EXPERIENCE in technical sales, consulting, development, and/or database architecture. Basically, you have to be able to- occasionally- talk to customers about their objectives, and help them succeed... hence the title.
    • 3 TO 5 YEARS industry experience. This is an amazing opportunity for someone who knows NodeJS to join a team building the first enterprise-class database using NodeJS. You might eventually want to work on the core product, and this is a great way to get in the door.
    • DATABASE EXPERIENCE with both NoSQL and SQL products. We can't believe we have to put this here, but you'd be surprised how often it comes up when you're building customer applications for a database company.
    • CLOUD ARCHITECTURE EXPERIENCE on AWS, GCP, and Azure... You may not have to spin up servers (we do have a devops team), but you should be able to grok the concept of a distributed system (it requires more than one server, for example).

    Salary: $150k - $175k
