Job Description

Harps Etc. is a full service harp center. You do not need to play the harp for this position. You do need to be willing to learn about harps. Harps Etc. offers harp rentals, sales, music, lessons, repairs, workshops and concerts. Our Ideal Candidate would have experience as an administrative assistant, sales, social media marketing and customer service. A background in music is helpful, but not essential. We will teach you what you need to know. Harps Etc. is one of a handful of harp centers in the USA. We sell, rent, repair and teach the harp as well as other activities to support the worldwide harp community. Walking into our store, you will find a warm, congenital and professional environment.

• Handle customer inquiries
• Provide information about the products and services
• Help customers decide what harp meets their needs and requirements
• Troubleshoot and resolve product issues and concerns
• Document and update customer records based on interactions
• Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services
• Maintain an up to date website
• Help with social media
• Keep store clean and tidy
• Occasionally walk the small store dog

• Previous experience in customer service, sales, and administrative support
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Positive and professional demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Point of Sale software
• Experience with website management
• Strong social media skills
• Knowledge of Excel and Word
• Be honest, dependable, and trustworthy
• Have been Covid vaccinated.
