Job Summary & Responsibilities A multi-discipline architectural, engineering, and environmental consulting firm is seeking a Site Development Engineer for their growing office in Parsippany, New Jersey!  

Responsibilities:

• Oversee/develop construction documents/specifications for private site development/municipal civil engineering projects
• Develop site designs (site layout, grading/storm drainage, roadway and utility infrastructure)
• Prepare site plan/subdivision review correspondence for Municipal Land Use Boards
• Coordinate/perform site investigations
• Prepare site development approvals, soil erosion and flood hazard areas for State and County
• Take steps necessary to obtain agency approvals
• Assist with preparing bids including opinion on probable costs and specifications for public projects
• Prepare capital improvement/construction documents
• Mentor/train junior staff

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• PE License
• 5+ years of design experience with a specific focus on site development projects and environmental permitting experience
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Knowledge of civil engineering principles/practices of related technical areas including stormwater management and detention basin design
