Summary: Responsible for analyzing loan applications, making loans, generating interest income, monitoring and servicing existing loan customers, making credit decisions, collecting on loans and marketing the Bank’s services and products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Perform lending duties.
Review and approve loan documentation to ensure accurate lien perfection
Soliciting sound loan requests which meet the bank’s lending philosophy and conform to Policy guidelines which protects bank’s assets;
Service accounts relationships by approving various negotiable instruments for deposit, transferring funds, authorizing checks for cashing and determining disposition of daily overdrafts.
Develop new deposit and loan relationships.
Work with customers regarding complaint resolution and/or problems ensuring customer satisfaction with Bank products and services
Serve actively on local or regional loan committees if applicable and providing meaningful dialogue during this process; and
Perform other work related duties, as assigned.

Must have proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office software
Must have a basic understanding of accounting and finance
Must have knowledge of applicable federal and state laws and regulations and knowledge of Bank policies and procedures
Must have analytical, decision-making and problem solving skills
Must be able to balance multiple tasks and projects simultaneously within a limited time frame
Must be able to pay attention to detail and strong organizational, communication and customer relation skills
Must have the ability of instructing, assigning new work, maintaining standards, allocating personnel, reviewing work, coordinating activities, planning work for others and acting on employee problems
Must be able to pass background and screening process.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field required
Five Years Commercial Lending experience required
Banking experience required.
