    SITE MANAGER

    IF YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE MANAGING A BUSINESS, PARTICULARLY IN THE STEEL INDUSTRY,  UNDERSTAND THE IMPORTANCE OF SAFETY, THINK ANALYTICALLY, HAVE THE ABILITY TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE, FIND STEEL MILLS INTERESTING, CAN PERFORM THE DUTIES LISTED BELOW AND WOULD LIKE TO LIVE IN NORTH CAROLINA, YOU MAY BE INTERESTED IN THIS POSITION.

    THE PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS ROLE ARE MANAGING THE SITE TO ENSURE SAFETY FIRST, EMPLOYEE TRAINING, MEETING THE NEEDS OF THE CUSTOMER WE SERVE AND OPERATING WITHIN THE FINANCIAL PLAN FOR THE SITE.

    THIS INCLUDES:

    ·         DIRECTING THE WORKFORCE TO SUCCESSFULLY SERVICE THE CUSTOMER SAFELY

    ·         MAINTAINING OPEN DIALOGUE WITH CUSTOMER TO ENSURE SATISFACTION

    ·         DEVELOPING CAPITAL BUDGET

    ·         APPROVING SITE PURCHASES

    ·         ENSURING PROPER MAINTENANCE FOR MOBILE EQUIPMENT AND MATERIAL RECOVERY PLANT IS FOLLOWED ON A TIMELY BASIS.

    Qualifications

    TO BE CONSIDERED A TOP CANDIDATE YOU WILL HOLD A BACHELOR’S DEGREE FROM 4 YEAR COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY; AT LEAST 10 YEARS PROVEN PROGRESSIVE MANAGERIAL EXPERIENCE IN STEEL-INDUSTRY, OR OTHER SIMILAR ENVIRONMENT; A PROVEN TRACK RECORD OF IMPROVING SAFETY PERFORMANCE AND GOALS; STRONG COMMUNICATION, ANALYTICAL AND LEADERSHIP SKILLS, WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION, AND  3 – 5 YEARS’ EXPERIENCE WITH PROFIT AND LOSS RESPONSIBILITY.
