Job Description
Operates or tend machinery equipped with scoops shovels or buckets to excavate and load loose materials
Responsible for maintaining proper erosion control and keeping retaining ponds clean.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, and other duties may be assigned.
Operates heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner.
Store heavy equipment safely and securely.
Maintain a clean and presentable workplace.
Clean heavy equipment as scheduled.
Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on all equipment being used.
Keep sediment ponds clean of silt and debris.
Repair any issues that are found with erosion on property.
Cleans facilities or work areas.
Direct material handling or moving activities.
Inspect material-moving equipment to detect problems.
Maintain material moving equipment in good working condition.
Maintain professional knowledge or certifications.

Be able to operate heavy equipment such as track hoe, skid steer, lull, and various types of manlifts.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Must possess two to four years related experience and/or training.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Driver’s license.
