    Job Description

    MAJOR PROJECTS:

    SOX - walkthoroughs update

    SOX - Interrim Testing

    SOX  - Update Testing

    SOX  - YE Final Testing

    DESCRIPTION OF EXPERIENCES AND EXPECTATIONS OF WHAT YOU SHOULD LEARN FROM THIS WORK EXPERIENCE:

    The candidate will experience the annual risk assessment performed by all public companies to determine if all major risks are adequately covered by existing key controls

    The candidate will go through the entire cycle of SOX testing, from reading and updating the control narratives with the control owner - control narratives document understanding of the design of the controls and assess the design effectiveness -  to performing the actual testing, that concludes on the operating effectiveness of the key controls, and therefore, their ability to manage the risk they were designed for. 

    The candidate will learn sampling methodologies, as well as remediation testing. 

    Finally - the candidate will learn how to do topside evaluation of all un-remediated deficiencies, to determine the "audit response" that will be discussed with the Corporate Controller as well as the external auditors.
