OUR DIVISIONS Now, get out your pencils and pads. Hartbeat has three divisions: HARTBEAT STUDIOS, which finances, develops, and produces innovative content; HARTBEAT MEDIA, which connects with consumers globally through events and the company's expansive distribution network; and PULSE, the full-service branded content and creative studio that also serves as creative and cultural consultancy to the Hartbeat brand. Plus, Hartbeat's flagship consumer brand, LOL! NETWORK, reaches audiences across its owned and operated social media, audio, and OTT partners. 'kay, pencils down.

THE ROLE We are seeking an enthusiastic, passionate. and motivated intern to join our team!  Our TV INTERN will be given the opportunity to gain experience in developing and marketing projects as well as evaluating scripts and talent.

This is a paid ($20/hour) position working virtually 10-15 hours per week through December

POSITION SUMMARY

Our TV INTERN will be given the opportunity to learn the TV development process and see projects in various development stages.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide script coverage
• Complete IP research and sourcing (books, podcasts, etc.)
• Update grids for TV and Audio departments
• Whatever the day presents in our world of television

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• Currently attending accredited college/university as a junior or senior or is a recent graduate within the past 6 mos. (Film major a plus)
• Must be at least 18 years of age with unrestricted work authorization
• Ability to analyze scripts and give detailed and targeted opinions of the material
• Avid reader and podcast listener
• Exceptional organization and time management skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfort contributing in a team environment
• Enjoys and knows how to leverage technology  
• Reliable and willingness to learn
• Strong interest in TV development process
• Finds the laughter in everyday life and wants to keep the world laughing together
