    Job Description

    Position Title: CSR Assistant – Rating and Remarketing Homeowners Policies

    Reports to: Senior Management

    A. SUMMARY

    Assists Customer Service Representatives by processing changes and renewals, by doing rating and/or data entry, making calls to clients or company, or by assisting in any other areas as instructed by the CSR.

    B. POSITION FUNCTIONS

    1. Primary role will be quoting and re-marketing Homeowners for existing clients.

    2. Maintains files in an orderly, up-to-date manner.

    3. Processes change requests for auto and types ID cards on the same day as requested.

    4. Processes change confirmations on the same day as requested.

    5. Processes confirmed cancellations on the same day as requested.

    6. Seeks advice from CSR’s with any problem with their accounts.

    7. Maintains working knowledge of all company change procedures.

    8. Assists or fills in for Customer Service Representatives as directed.

    9. Inputs late-payment notices, direct notice of cancellations, and payment-received notices into the agency automation system.

    10. Processes paperwork assigned by Customer Service Representatives on the same day as requested.

    11. Maintains working knowledge of all rating products and processes backup rating when needed.

    12. Performs other functions as assigned by management.

    C. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    Self-starter, imaginative and creative, with good verbal and written communication skills.

    D. OTHER REQUIREMENTS

    High school or equivalent degree. Ability to use personal computer, calculator, agency automation systems and various software programs including but not limited to Microsoft Word and Excel.

    Fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
