Hartwig Staffing is partnered with a well-known company that is looking to add a Mechanical Design Technician to their team. Compensation on this role is $24 - 40 an hour. ($40 an hour will be a more senior level person)

Skills you'll need/What you'll do:

• Must have 2 years of hands-on experience working as a Design Technician in the Mechanical Engineering space
• Must have an Applicable Associate degree (A.A.)
• Hands-on experience with Revit is a firm requirement and one must have at least educational exposure to AutoCAD
• Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc. AutoCAD and Revit MEP proficiency are required
• Under the supervision of licensed engineer, develops mechanical engineering studies, plans, specifications, calculations, evaluations, design documents and assessments for commercial facilities, including new construction and renovation.
• Uses AutoCAD, Revit MEP and other MEP-specific design and calculation software to create detailed designs for construction documents.
• Selects mechanical and plumbing materials appropriate for facilities based on coordination with architects, engineers, plans, specifications, and code requirements.
