Under moderate supervision and following standard procedures with some independent judgment installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures and systems by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Maintains company facility and other company-owned properties by performing activities such as:

   • Making minor and routine repairs to internal and external structure of facilities.
   • Notifying management concerning need for major repairs.
   • Removing snow, litter and other items.

2. Builds custom tailored equipment, repairs existing equipment, dismantles defective equipment, and installs new or repaired parts.

3. Builds, removes, or reconfigures work stations and related accessories;

4. Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge of: 

Building Systems - Electrical/Lighting, HVAC, Plumbing, Security Cameras, Fire Suppression, Fire Alarms, Blueprints, Generator

Grounds Management - Winter snow removal, Irrigations system, Grounds equipment maintenance and usage, Minor landscaping

Operations - Painting, Safety Drills, Ergonomics, minor housekeeping

Planning & Construction - Space Planning, Renovations, New Construction, exterior maint and repairs

Administration Services- Purchasing, Fleet vehicle maintenance

Required Experience

• One year certificate from college or technical school; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• A minimum requirement for this position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.
