Under general supervision and with independent judgment, analyzes, designs, and coordinates the implementation of business applications and systems. As a Business Systems Analyst you will work closely with our clients in a cross-functional team responsible for the delivery of business solutions.  You will participate in the end-to-end delivery of projects from business requirements gathering to solution design, development, testing and implementation. 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Prepare project plans by gathering, analyzing and making recommendations based on client input. Coordinate with client throughout project lifecycle.
• Act as the subject matter expert.
• Maintain a mutual understanding of project direction with programming staff.
• Balance project priorities and ensure deadlines are met through effective management of scope creep.
• Design business application solutions by interfacing with the client and internal resources within limited area of responsibility.
• Create supporting documentation for new application features and functions.
• Transform functional requirements into system specifications by writing clear and concise application requirements documents.

Required Skills Required Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university

• 3-5 years related experience

• Strong independent and analytical skills

• Experience in project management

• Excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and presentation

• Property and Casualty insurance knowledge preferred but not required

• Guidewire experience preferred but not required
