We are a fast-paced, dynamic team seeking a Video and Photo Editor to create, collaborate, create, and edit content for our social media platforms. The ideal candidate for this role is a detail-oriented self-starter who leans in to challenging tasks and is not afraid to make mistakes.

In the role of Video Editor, you will work closely with the CEO, Creative Director, and the Social Media Manager to create fun, genuine, and aesthetically on-brand content. We are looking for someone who is both highly creative and a technical wiz. There is a real opportunity for creative storytelling and to have a meaningful impact on the video content we produce.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate on, create, and edit digital videos for web and social media including weekly Youtube Vlogs, Vlog teasers, Facebook & Instagram videos, and email campaigns videos.

• Assist in the production of in-office and on location video content.

• Provide creative input from conception of content through post-production.

• Maintain all editing equipment, troubleshoot problems, and actively facilitate repairs if needed.

• Select photos, edit, color correct, and retouch photos from shoots as needed.

• Work proactively for quick turnarounds and web posting.

REQUIREMENTS

• 2+ years of experience editing videos and photos.
• Detail-oriented mindset, with a creative approach to video editing and storytelling.
• Ability to work both independently and as a collaborative team player.
• Bachelor's degree in Media Arts, Communications, Broadcast Journalism, Film/Television Production, Photography or other related fields
• Extensive knowledge of digital media software tools (Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, After Effects).
