Residential Counselors collaborate with a treatment team of medical staff and family members to provide quality care that supports the overall well-being of residents. The ideal candidate is patient, compassionate, and reliable.
Our services, based on the Oregon Administrative Rules, include assistance with daily living, safe medication administration, transportation, implementing support plans, and ensuring accurate and compliant documentation.
As a member of our team, you will be required to participate in regular trainings, which will provide you with the skills and knowledge needed to provide the best possible care for our residents.

Responsibilities:
Assisting residents with tasks of daily living, including cooking and bathing
Maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the facility
Coordinating and providing social activities for residents, such as community outings and holiday parties
Ensuring the safety and security of each resident by remaining attentive and awake at all times
Assisting with the implementation and documentation of Individual Support Plans (ISPs) for residents
Providing transportation to medical appointments
Assisting with medication administration, documentation, and management for each resident as ordered by a licensed medical professional
Collaborating and communicating with all members of the treatment team involved in the care of each resident, from family to medical staff such as primary care physicians
Providing quality documentation that follows company policy, as well as state and federal laws
Qualifications:
18 years of age or older
Able to read, write, and speak English proficiently
Excellent communication and interpersonal spills
Driver's license preferred but not required
Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines
Knowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills
Proficient in computer literacy
Must pass and maintain first aid and CPR/AED certification (training provided)
Must pass and maintain Oregon Intervention Systems (OIS) certification (training provided)
Must pass DHS / Criminal History Background Check
