    Job Description

    Reservationist / Customer Service Representative: Seeking a full-time reservationist with a dynamic personality, good character, computer-literate, with at least a year of experience in customer service, a resident of Honolulu, reliable, dependable, punctual, non-smoking, and willing to work overtime, holidays, Saturdays, and Sundays schedule. Starting from $18 per hour, + overtime pay, per-day commissions, quota bonuses, health Insurance, + Summer and Christmas Bonuses. Job Overview: Responsible for assisting customers with their reservation needs in a professional and courteous manner, providing quality, friendly, professional service to customers as it involves checking customers in, assisting them to sign waivers, answering the phone, providing parasailing package quotes, handling customer complaints, or concerns, processing payments, and refunds, processing reservations online. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: * A secondary school diploma is preferred * Fluency in English (verbal and written) is required. * Prior experience working with the public in person or on the phone. * Must have experience working on computers. * Good communication skills * Detail-oriented * Experience with basic computer application * Previous cash-handling experience in marketing and sales is an asset * Ability to do thorough research * Time management skills are an asset * Knowledge of a second language is an asset Desired Skills/Experience: * Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with co-workers and the public. * Possess a courteous, friendly, and professional manner. * Friendly sounding, articulate voice with good vocabulary. * Strong customer service focus. * Good team player. * Ability to remain calm under pressure. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks at once. * Patience and tact are required to accommodate customer needs and resolve occasional difficult situations. * Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness and work with a minimum of supervision. * Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations. * Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, and diplomacy to defuse anger. * Must be punctual with regular and reliable attendance. Essential Physical Abilities: * Must be able to work at a computer for extended periods of time. * Endure a high volume of phone usage. * Must be flexible to work long and sometimes irregular hours.
