Develop year round recreational/sports programing for all ages. Remuneration based on qualifications and experience, falling within the range of $22-$25 per hour. Responsibilities: The Camp & Recreation Coordinator (CRC) oversees core program business functions of: • The CRC will organize and oversee all youth camp and recreation programs. This includes project managing marketing launches as well as customer purchasing/registration procedures. These areas require working collaboratively with HFAC’s existing teams in marketing, web page, software, and administration. • We are a midsize company with a family culture. Leaders participate however needed, and duties will include hands-on direct communication and interaction with participants and/or parents of participants. • The CRC is responsible for the care, training, safety, protection, and supervision of staff and participants. • The CRC compiles, documents, and upholds all activities, protocols, and policies for each camp/program type, which are subject to approval. Responsible for all documentation, training, standardization, and implementation of business plans. Qualifications: • Knowledge of best practices for program policies, rules, and guidelines to promote safety when working with children and sports, and a proven willingness to learn, develop and uphold new best practices where needed. • Strong administration, organization, and documenting skills. • A love of kids, parents, and recreation. • Demonstrated experience in managing 5+ employees. • Must have worked in a relevant field for at least 2 years. • First Aid & CPR certification is required prior to the first day of HFAC’s 2024 Summer Camp start date. • The ideal candidate will have experience in planning programs, the ability to work collaboratively with others, and possess excellent leadership, management, and organizational skills. • The CRC must be patient, passionate, and detail-oriented. • While performing the duties of this job, the employee will frequently need to walk, stand, sit, talk, hear, and use a computer. • The employee is occasionally required to operate objects or tools and reach with arms and hands. • At times, the employee may need to climb, balance, stoop, or kneel. The job requires frequent light lifting (5-10 lbs.) and infrequent heavy lifting of up to 50 lbs. The applicant must have the ability to pass a background check. Must also have the ability/willingness to have a flexible work schedule based on the needs of the business. The position needs will vary seasonally and can include weekend and evening work responsibilities. Compensation: $22 -$25 per Hour
