We have an immediate opportunity at our Vancouver, WA home office for a Financial Analyst. About Our Opportunity: Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Financial Analyst will be instrumental in analyzing, understanding and communicating the key drivers of financial performance for our senior housing portfolio. The successful individual will combine an advanced analytical approach with focused critical reasoning to transform raw data into insightful financial analysis. Key Job Functions: -Provide visibility to senior leadership regarding financial targets and portfolio performance including variances. -Assist management in understanding key trends and variance of key metrics -Develop flexible models to provide real-time forecasts and analysis to senior management -Parse large sets of data from multiple sources to identify trends and variances in key drivers · Support the annual and interim budgeting process, partner with Operating teams to develop, monitor, and perform market analysis to meet occupancy targets and operating and financial budgets. · Partner with operations and accounting to develop annual forecast templates and models. · Regular, on-site attendance is required as scheduled. Qualifications · Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Real Estate, Business Administration or equivalent · Minimum 1-3 years of work-related experience -Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to analyze data trends, draw conclusions and create presentable, understandable reports to senior management. -Strong verbal, written & interpersonal communication skills -Process and detail oriented, always looking for avenues to improve processes -Intellectual curiosity -Experience with analyzing financial statements to understand the specific drivers of a business -Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment · Advanced Microsoft Office software, especially Excel, including creating macros, Power Query, Power Pivot, and similar analytical tools.
