    Haystax Technology is currently seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to work with the VP of People on crucial People Management programs for our energetic and quickly growing organization in McLean, VA. This position requires a skilled problemsolver who has prior HR experience in a fast-paced office environment and canhit the ground running with minimal supervision.

    As a growing organization, this role will interact and work withall departments in the organization and will be a great opportunity for someonelooking to have hands-on experience in HR and opportunity to grow their careerin several ways. The ideal candidate for this role has an innate sense ofurgency, strong work ethic and sense of responsibility/ownership. Most of all,the successful candidate for this role need to have baseline HR knowledge,impeccable time management, problem solving and organizational skills.

    Responsibilities

    The Human Resources Coordinator provides administrativeand operational management and support throughout the organization for bothlocal and remote employees. The specific job responsibilities include, but arenot limited to: 

      • Assist VP of HR with the end-to-end employment process - including entering employment data into computer databases, submitting job postings online, scheduling candidate interviews, coordinating onboarding and offboarding procedures, assisting with new hire orientations and employee training and assisting when needed on larger scale HR initiatives (e.g. benefits enrollment, HRIS implementation, change management efforts).
      • Maintain records of personnel-related data (payroll, personal information, leaves, turnover rates, etc.) in both paper and the database and ensure all employment requirements are met.
      • Assist with drafting program proposals and making suggestions regarding benefits, performance management and policy changes, based on best practices and growth projections.
      • Manage internal learning program scheduling, presentations and follow up.
      • Planning, organizing and executing corporate events and philanthropic activities alongside members of the Operations Team.
      • Assist supervisors in performance management procedures.
      • Perform thorough and accurate research as needed.

    Qualifications

     Education & Experience

      • Minimum 3 years corporate HR experience
      • Experience with event planning a plus
      • Experience working in a technology company highly desired, but not required
      • Bachelors degree required

     Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Attributes

      • Proficiency with Microsoft applications, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
      • Strong organizational and time management skills
      • Ability to multi-task, think strategically and problem solve with a strong attention to detail,  always staying “one step ahead”
      • Proficiency with Human Resources applications (e.g. ADP, People Strategy, SuccessFactors, etc.) required. 
      • Working knowledge of Accounting applications desired (e.g. QuickBooks)
      • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
      • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
      • Demonstrated ability to complete projects within designated timeframes
      • Reliable, trustworthy and proven ability to maintain strict confidentiality
      • Displays high standards and ethical conduct
      • Professionalism in appearance and work habits
