POSITION SUMMARY

Seeking an energetic and motivated Customer Service Representative to join our team in Holyoke, MA. The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for communicating with current and potential customers. They will support the sales staff and co-workers offering any assistance possible.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Communicate with customers or potential customers by phone/fax, e-mail or in person with regard to inquiries, orders, problems and general product information.

Write up sales and manufacturing orders; obtaining all information necessary for order to run. Obtain customer purchase orders and verify all details very carefully to the quotation.

Enter orders and/or work instructions into computer system for customers in a prompt and accurate manner. Send sales order acknowledgements. Make necessary changes to existing orders and re-acknowledge to customer. Cross check the work instructions and the sales order acknowledgement to the customer purchase order with great care and resolve any details that do not match.

Provide customer with inventory of customer supplied stock and packing lists and verify accuracy. If required by customer, provide weekly or daily order status.

Typing and mailing of price lists, letters, quotations, work instructions, inventories as well as filing. Match details on customers purchase orders very carefully to the quotation and work instructions.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Two-year degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration preferred. Minimum two years’ experience in a customer service role required. Strong attention to detail is a must! Experience in the manufacturing industry preferred.
