    We are seeking a passionate, organized, and driven Head Age Group Coach to lead and develop our 10 & under / 12 & under swimmers within a growing competitive swim program. This role is ideal for a coach who is excited to build a strong foundation for young athletes while contributing to a high-performance team culture.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Lead all Age Group practices, including planning and implementing season-long training progressions

    Develop swimmers’ technique across all strokes, with an emphasis on fundamentals, starts, turns, and underwater skills

    Create a positive, structured, and engaging training environment for young athletes

    Oversee group placement and progression within the age group structure

    Attend and actively coach at swim meets, including entry planning and race strategy

    Communicate effectively with swimmers, parents, and staff

    Collaborate with the Head Coach to align long-term athlete development and team goals

    Assist in building and growing the Age Group program through retention and recruitment

    Qualifications:

    Prior competitive swimming and coaching experience (club experience preferred)

    Strong technical knowledge of stroke mechanics and age group development

    USA Swimming coaching certifications (or ability to obtain upon hire)

    Excellent communication and organizational skills

    Positive energy, professionalism, and a passion for working with young athletes

    Schedule:

    Weekday afternoon/evening practices

    Weekend practices and swim meets as scheduled
