Job Summary:
The Head of Audio is the primary interface for touring audio techs and the stagehands assigned to carry out their direction. You are responsible for the effective transmission of your tour contact's instructions, and the correct execution of all installation instructions. This role requires a blend of technical skill, troubleshooting & crew leadership.
This is a union stage crew role. Any successful candidate will be required to join IATSE Local #13 and fulfill membership requirements.

General Duties/Responsibilities:
Serve as lead audio engineer for high-profile concerts, corporate events, and school events, overseeing technical execution and ensuring seamless production quality across all venues
Ensure all department operations adhere to the IATSE collective bargaining agreement, including meal breaks, turnaround times, and safety regulations
Familiarity with the deployment of PA systems, monitors, and signal distribution networks (Dante, AVB, MADI)
Supervise the Audio Department staff and oversee union stagehands.
Work closely with the Head of Lighting and Stage Carpentry to ensure integrated production workflows
During installation, conduct routine inspections of consoles, microphones, cables, and amplifiers.
Maintain an accurate database of all house audio assets

The US base salary for this part-time position is $38/hour plus benefits as applicable.
