Job Title: Head Housekeeper

Job Summary:
We are seeking an organized and dedicated Head Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will take the lead in overseeing and managing the housekeeping department, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and service for our guests. A passion for guest satisfaction and an eye for detail is essential, as well as strong leadership capabilities to mentor and manage the housekeeping staff effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, and supervise the housekeeping team to ensure efficient operations and adherence to quality standards.
- Develop and implement housekeeping policies, procedures, and standards to enhance the guest experience.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to maintain the highest cleaning standards.
- Oversee inventory management of cleaning supplies and linens, ensuring stock levels are maintained and costs are controlled.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and address any specific guest requests or concerns.
- Handle administrative tasks including scheduling, budgeting, and performance evaluations for the housekeeping staff.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, complaints, and requests, maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in housekeeping management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on employee development.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using housekeeping management software and MS Office Suite.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality management is a plus.
