Swan Aquatics is looking to hire an experienced Head Lifeguard for a pool partnership in Chula Vista, CA. Job responsibilities include supervising lifeguards on duty, aiding in staff in-service training, scheduling staffand eventually teaching lifeguard certification courses.

DETAILS

Year round part time:

Approx. 16 hours a week during off season

Up to 40 hours a week during peak season

Pay: $20 per hour

Facility Hours: Off Season

10am-6pm (Weekends)

Peak Season

10am-6pm (7 days a week)

QUALIFICATIONS

Ages 18+ with a High school Diploma or equivalent

2+ years of lifeguard and/or swim instructor experience required

Current ARC or equivalent Lifeguard certification required

Current ARC Lifeguard Management course completion or enrolled required

Current (or ability to obtain) an ARC Lifeguard Instructor certification within 30 days of hire

1+ year experience in a leadership role preferred

Ability to pass pre-employment verbal, swim, and in-water skills tests
