Conduct athlete assessments and goal-setting consultations

Provide personal training and individualized coaching as needed

Ensure proper movement mechanics, exercise execution, and injury prevention strategies

Create an exceptional training environment that motivates athletes of all ages and abilities

    Leadership & Staff Development

Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop coaching staff

Lead weekly coach meetings and ongoing professional development initiatives

Conduct coaching observations and performance evaluations

Hold coaches accountable to D1 standards, expectations, and member experience goals

Build a culture of professionalism, positivity, and continuous improvement

Manage coach scheduling and staffing needs

    Personal Training Management

Oversee personal training operations and service quality

Support personal training growth and revenue objectives

Ensure consistency across all personal training sessions

Assist coaches in developing and retaining personal training clients

    Member Experience & Business Growth

Track and improve member engagement, attendance, and retention

Build strong relationships with athletes and families

Support trial workouts, athlete evaluations, and onboarding experiences

Partner with sales staff to improve conversion and retention metrics

Assist with camps, combines, team training opportunities, and community outreach events

Serve as a leader and ambassador for the D1 Training brand within the community

    What We're Looking For:

    Required Qualifications

3+ years of experience in strength and conditioning, personal training, sports performance, or athletic development

Experience coaching group training sessions in a fast-paced environment

Strong knowledge of exercise science, movement mechanics, and injury prevention

Ability to motivate athletes and create a positive training atmosphere

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

    CPR/AED certification required

    Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Performance, or a related field

Prior leadership experience managing, mentoring, or developing coaching staff

Experience coaching youth athletes ages 7–18

Understanding of long-term athletic development principles

CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) strongly preferred

NASM, NSCA, USAW, ACE, FMS, or other nationally recognized certifications preferred

    Who You Are

You lead by example and set a high standard for those around you.
