About the Role
Our growing company is seeking an experienced Head of Engineering to lead the development of innovative financial wellness solutions that empower real people to build lasting financial stability. Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll own the engineering function, establish technical vision and strategy, and build the engineering team and culture that will scale with our growth.
As the Head of Engineering, you'll have significant influence over the technical direction of the company while partnering closely with the CEO on product and business strategy. Your time will be significantly focused on establishing processes and standards, making architectural decisions, hands-on coding and technical problem-solving, and developing your team's technical capabilities. Product-centric work is also critical, as you collaborate with the CEO and company leadership on roadmap priorities.
The ideal candidate is a technical leader who thrives in early-stage environments, can balance hands-on technical work with strategic thinking and people leadership, and has the vision to build an engineering foundation that will support our growth.
This is a hybrid role based in Indianapolis, IN. Candidates must be able to work from our Indianapolis office 3 days per week. We are not considering fully remote candidates for this role. Applicants must also be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employment visa sponsorship.
